MARVIN VALENCIA

 

Marvin was born, raised, and currently lives in Chicago, Illinois.  He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations.  He is currently working as a Human Resources Business Partner at Brunswick Corporation.

 

Some fun facts about Marvin...

• Marvin ran Cross Country and Track & Field in High School.  His fastest 1-mile time is 5:06 and 5k time is 18:00.

• Marvin is terrified of heights, hates roller coasters, and can't swim.  

• Marvin visited the Philippines once when he was 7 years old.  During that trip, he fell in a pot hole (a really big one) and hit his head on the road.  He got stitches on his forehead and has a scar to prove it.

• In 2010, Marvin got braces at the age of 26.  He got them off 2 years later, the day before he proposed to Gigi.

• Marvin loves to travel.  The countries he's visited are Canada, China, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, Puerto Rico, and South Africa.
